About this Award

The Nissan Canada MBA Scholarship was established in 2006 by Nissan Canada Inc. to support postsecondary management education at the University of Ottawa.

One of Nissan's global visions is “to improve the quality of life in the communities in which Nissan operates”. Nissan sees Corporate Social Responsibility differently than many other organizations. For Nissan, it is not a communications program designed to make them look good, or just a way of donating to charitable causes. Corporate Social Responsibility is about making their business sustainable for the long term. It is about running their business in such a way that there is no more “win-lose” dynamic with their stakeholders. It is about trust. Nissan Canada's mission is to fuse the most advanced technology and design in order to create vehicles that stand for innovation that is truly breakthrough.

Nissan Canada wishes to thank the Government of Ontario who helped create this fund through their generous matching contribution.
