About this Award
Specifically, the organization draws individuals from all walks of life who take an interest both in societal issues and in political, economic, scientific and cultural relations from a Canada-France perspective. As a multidisciplinary local forum for the promotion of Canada-France relations and for the exchange of views and insights, it not only gives exposure but also formally contributes to the efforts of those committed to promoting and highlighting Canada-France relations (authors, journalists, teachers, documentalists, academics, students, business people, scientists and diplomats).
By offering this scholarship, the Société des Amis Canada-France wants to provide a catalyst for a long-lasting youth movement in Canada-France relations. The organization thanks the government of Ontario for providing matching funds through the OTSS.
