About this Award
Before retiring, Chris was a Library Technician at Algonquin College where he was an active member of the local union that represented the support staff. As his mentor, Robert encouraged Chris to enroll in the Certificate, Labour Management Relations program at the Telfer School of Management. Having formal education in Labour Management Relations helped Chris to better serve the members of the union, as well as interact with the Human Resource Specialists and Mangers. Christopher Boal understands the value of postsecondary education and strongly believes in providing the resources and tools students need to help them achieve their goals.
