Purpose of this Award

To assist students who have demonstrated academic excellence and the greatest integration of risk management principles in their academic and professional activities.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must:

  1. be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with protected or refugee status, or an international student
  2. be enrolled at the University of Ottawa as a full-time undergraduate student in third or fourth year or graduate student
  3. demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid and Awards Service of the University of Ottawa
  4. demonstrate academic excellence
  5. show the greatest integration of risk management principles in their academic and professional activities

How to Apply

Submitted in the Online Scholarship and Bursaries portal, accessible via uoZone, and must include:

  1. the Financial Questionnaire
  2. the applicant’s unofficial transcript
  3. a letter (max 500 words) describing the applicant’s integration of risk management principles into their academic and professional activities
