Purpose of this Award
Support Indigenous students enrolled in the Faculty of Law, Common Law Section or the Faculty of Medicine, who demonstrate financial need.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must:
- be a Canadian citizen
- provide documented proof of Indigenous identity, in accordance with the requirements of the University of Ottawa Eligibility for Focused Admissions, Scholarships, and Bursaries for First Nations, Inuit, and Métis People administrative procedure
- be registered as a full-time or part-time student in an undergraduate program at the Faculty of Law, Common Law Section, or in an undergraduate or graduate program at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ottawa
- demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid and Awards Service of the University of Ottawa
