About this Award

This fund was established by the Student Federation of the University of Ottawa Educational Foundation in 1999 with the full support of the University of Ottawa. Given that many bursary funds have been established through the Ontario Student Opportunity Trust Fund (OSOTF), the foundation who established an OSOTF bursary felt that it would be appropriate to create a bursary fund for the many students whose residence is outside the Province of Ontario.

The Students Federation wishes to thank the Alumni Association of the University of Ottawa who helped create this fund through their generous contributions.
