Purpose of this Award

To provide financial assistance to a full-time student registered in a program at the Faculty of Medicine.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must:

  1. be registered as a full-time student in a program at the Faculty of Medicine
  2. be an Ontario resident, as per OSAP (Ontario Student Assistance Program) rules
  3. demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid and Awards Service of the University of Ottawa

This scholarship was initiated by the Faculty of Medicine Class of 1956 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of their graduation.
