Purpose of this Award

To provide financial assistance to students pursuing their studies at the Faculty of Medicine.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must:

  1. be registered as a full-time student at the Faculty of Medicine
  2. be an Ontario resident, as per OSAP (Ontario Student Assistance Program) rules
  3. demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid and Awards Service of the University of Ottawa

About this Award

This endowment fund was established in 2009 through a generous bequest by the Estate of Doris Giguere.
