Purpose of this Award

Provide financial assistance to a student in the MD Program who demonstrates a financial need.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must:

  1. be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident or a person with the protected/refugee status
  2. be registered as a full-time undergraduate student to the MD program at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ottawa
  3. be an Ontario resident, as per OSAP (Ontario Student Assistance Program) rules
  4. demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid and Awards Service of the University of Ottawa

About this Award

This fund was established in 2005 by Dr. Maurice Daniel, graduate of the Faculty of Medicine's Class of 1955 in celebration of his 50th class reunion.
