Purpose of this Award

The purpose of the fund is to provide financial assistance to University of Ottawa medical students who qualify under the terms established by the Ontario Trust Student Support.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must:

  1. be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident or a person with the protected/refugee status
  2. be enrolled as a full-time student in the MD program at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ottawa
  3. be an Ontario resident, as per OSAP (Ontario Student Assistance Program) rules
  4. demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid and Awards Service of the University of Ottawa
