About this Award
The “Father Danis Fund” results from the annual investment revenues flowing from an endowment established by some
of the Faculty's early graduates. The fund honors their cherished mentor and friend, Father Lorenzo Danis. He was a
member of the Oblate order and the individual charged with developing a medical school at the University of Ottawa.
