About this Award

Kieran Mulroy established this scholarship in 2005 to honour the memory of his parents, Joseph and Eileen Mulroy, who immigrated to Canada from Ireland in 1947. Their lives were rooted in love, a quest for opportunity, and family. They embraced the value of hard work, the pursuit of education, physical development and self-determination.

Kieran Mulroy attended the University of Ottawa, where he received a BA in Economics in 1982 and an LLB from the Faculty of Law in 1984.

The donor wishes to thank the Government of Ontario for its matching contributions through its Ontario Trust for Student Support program.
