Purpose of this Award

To support doctoral candidates whose theses deal with a practical topic related to private law. 

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must:

  1. be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with protected or refugee status, or an international student
  2. be enrolled full or part time in a doctoral program in the Faculty of Law of the University of Ottawa
  3. demonstrate that their thesis deals with a practical topic related to private law
