Purpose of this Award
To award a scholarship to deserving students of the Faculty of Education who demonstrate financial need, and who have
encountered a recent unforeseen situation or personal hardship. The scholarship is awarded without discrimination of
age, sex or linguistic or cultural background.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must:
- be registered in an undergraduate program at the Faculty of Education of the University of Ottawa
- be an Ontario resident, as per OSAP rules
- demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid and Awards Service of the University of Ottawa
- have encountered a recent unforeseen situation or personal hardship
How to Apply
Submitted in the Online Scholarship and Bursaries portal, accessible via uoZone, and must include:
- the Financial Questionnaire
- a letter from the applicant explaining the recent unforeseen situation or personal hardship he/she has encountered
