Purpose of this Award
The objective of this fund is to provide financial assistance to Indigenous students who are undertaking undergraduate studies at the University of Ottawa and who demonstrate financial need.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must:
- provide documented proof of Indigenous identity, as per the requirements of the University of Ottawa Indigenous Admissions Policy
- demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid and Awards Service of the University of Ottawa
- be registered full time in an undergraduate program, including the Faculty of Medicine, Education and Law (Common Law and Civil Law Sections)
- meet the admission requirements of the Faculty concerned
- be a Canadian citizen
Students may apply for this bursary every year. Financial need is the key factor in determining the recipients.
