Purpose of this Award
To provide financial assistance to a Franco-Ontarian
student enrolled full-time in a French-language undergraduate program in the Département
de français at the University of Ottawa.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must:
- be enrolled full-time in a French-language undergraduate program in the Département de français of the University of Ottawa. Any program of study into which the applicant is enrolled must be in French.
- be an Ontario resident, as per OSAP rules
- demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid and Awards Service of the University of Ottawa
- be in very good academic standing
- provide a short biography written in French on their Franco-Ontarian origins

Submitted in the Online Scholarship and Bursaries portal, accessible via uoZone, and must include:
- the Financial Questionnaire
- a short biography written in French (max. 300 words) outlining the candidate’s Franco-Ontarian origins
About this Award
Nadine Saumure is a graduate (BA'94) of the University
of Ottawa’s Lettres françaises and History departments. She was the
recipient of a number of bursaries during her studies and has established this bursary
to provide financial assistance for Franco-Ontarian students in the Département
de français.

contribution under its matching program.
