Purpose of this Award

To provide financial assistance to Chemical Engineering students.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must:

  1. be registered as a full-time student in the Chemical Engineering program at the University of Ottawa
  2. be an Ontario resident, as per OSAP* rules
  3. demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid and Awards Service of the University of Ottawa
  4. be in good academic standing.
Preference will be given to an applicant with academic potential who demonstrates financial need and whose studies would be compromised without scholarship assistance.

About this Award

Established by the members of the Class of 1978 Chemical Engineering in 2007, the scholarship was created to commemorate their 30th anniversary of graduation. These graduates feel proud to have graduated from the Faculty of Engineering and are thankful for the excellent education they received.

The donors thank the Government of Ontario who helped create this fund through its generous matching contributions.
