Purpose of this Award

To provide financial assistance to students in need.  

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must:

  1. be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, or a person with the protected/refugee status
  2. be an Ontario resident, as per OSAP rules
  3. be enrolled as an undergraduate part-time or full-time student at the University of Ottawa
  4. demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid and Awards Service of the University of Ottawa
  5. have pursued all their high school studies at a Francophone school in Ontario

How to Apply

Submitted in the Online Scholarship and Bursaries portal, accessible via uoZone, and must include:

  1. the Financial Questionnaire
  2. a high school transcript from a Francophone school in Ontario

About this Award

This fund was created in memory of Charlotte and Thomas Bondy and Cécile Fontaine by their children, AnneMarie, and Robert. Mrs. Fontaine and the Bondys placed a high value on education and their children were always encouraged to pursue their studies.  The donors thank the Government of Ontario for its matching contributions through the Ontario Student Opportunity Trust Fund program.
