About this Award

This scholarship was established in 1997 by Caroline Andrew during her term as Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and professor at the Department of Political Science (now the School of Political Studies). The scholarship honours Stéphanie St-Amand, who was Dean Andrew's mother-in-law and who, despite not having had the chance to pursue her education, always rejoiced in others' opportunity to do so. The donor wishes to thank the Alumni Association of the University of Ottawa and the Government of Ontario for their matching contributions.
