Purpose of this Award
To provide financial assistance to students registered in second, third or fourth year of the honours program at the School of Political Studies and whose education would otherwise be compromised.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must:
- be registered part- or full-time in second, third or fourth year of the honours program at the University of Ottawa's School of Political Studies;
- be an Ontario resident, as per OSAP (Ontario Student Assistance Program) rules;
- demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid and Awards Service of the University of Ottawa; and
- have a minimum CGPA of A-.
Note : Preference will be given to part-time students.

This fund was established in 1997 by Andrew Axline and François-Pierre Gingras, professors at the Department of Political Science, now the School of Political Studies.
