About this Award
The Ouellette Family, originally from Kapuskasing, established this scholarship to bring support to students from Northern Ontario whose education at the University of Ottawa could be compromised through financial need. Several members of the Ouellette family attended the University and wish to assist future generations of students whose lives will also benefit from the education received and experience gained at the University. The family members wish to thank the Alumni Association and the Government of Ontario who helped create this fund through their generous matching contributions.
