Purpose of this Award

To award a female student or a person involved in the LGBTQ+ community who has shown leadership in science or engineering.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must:

  1. be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with protected or refugee status, or an international student
  2. be enrolled as a full- or part-time student in an undergraduate program at the Faculty of Science or the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Ottawa
  3. demonstrate leadership in science or engineering
  4. be involved in the LGBTQ2+ community

  1. a letter (max. 500 words) describing the applicant’s involvement in the LGBTQ2+ community (if applicable)
