Purpose of this Award

Award a scholarship to a 4th year undergraduate student in Civil Engineering who has demonstrated academic excellence in geotechnical engineering as well as an interest in pursuing a master's or doctoral degree in that field.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must:

  1. be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with the protected/refugee status or an international student
  2. be registered as a full-time undergraduate student in the 4th year of a Civil Engineering program at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Ottawa
  3. have demonstrated academic excellence in the 2nd year and 3rd year geotechnical courses as part of his/her program
  4. demonstrate an interest in pursuing a master's or doctoral degree in geotechnical engineering

How to Apply

Submitted in the Online Scholarship and Bursaries portal, accessible via uoZone, and must include:

  1. a non-official copy of the applicant's transcript
  2. a letter from the applicant detailing his interest in pursuing a master's or doctoral degree in geotechnical engineering
