Purpose of this Award

To provide financial assistance to students registered in the Computer Science program at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Ottawa, and to encourage Computer Science students to make an active contribution to student life on campus and in the community.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must:

  1. be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with the protected/refugee status or an international student
  2. be registered full-time in the Computer Science undergraduate program at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Ottawa
  3. have a minimum CGPA of 5.0
  4. have been involved in one or more extracurricular activities of the Computer Science Students' Association within the last two (2) years
  5. demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid and Awards Service at the University of Ottawa
Note: Members of the Computer Science Students' Association executive committee are not eligible.

Submitted in the Online Scholarship and Bursaries portal, accessible via uoZone, and must include:

  1. the Financial Questionnaire
  2. the Curriculum Vitae on Online Scholarships and Bursaries
  3. a non-official copy of the applicant's transcript
  4. a letter of recommendation confirming the applicant's involvement in university or community life
