About this Award
The Telfer Emerging Leaders in Management Consulting Bursary was established in 2026 by Murray Kronick, Fellow Certified Management Consultant (FCMC) and ICMCI Academic Fellow, to support students intending to pursue a career in management consulting.
Following a lengthy career in management consulting, working with a myriad of clients across Canada and the United States, Murray became a part-time professor (long-term appointment) for many years. During this time, he helped to establish the Microprogram in Management Consulting and taught the various consulting courses at both the undergraduate and MBA levels. He received the “Telfie Award” in 2024 for excellence in teaching, research and community engagement.
This bursary is his way of “giving back” in gratitude to the school that gave him a chance to contribute to the success of its students, faculty and staff in so many ways.
