Purpose of this Award
To support HOST program participants (while attending high school) currently enrolled at the University of Ottawa.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must:
- be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident or a person with protected or refugee status
- be enrolled as a full- or part-time undergraduate student at the University of Ottawa
- demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid and Awards Service of the University of Ottawa
- must be or have been part of the HOST program
How to Apply
Submitted in the Online Scholarship and Bursaries portal, accessible via uoZone, and must include:
- the Financial Questionnaire
- a letter confirming enrollement or completion of the program issued by an official representative of the Help Our Students (HOST) program
About this Award
Established in 2010, the Help Our Students (HOST) program provides financial assistance to hard-working high school students experiencing difficult financial circumstances, to help them graduate. Through the generosity of local donor and philanthropist David H. Hill, CM, QC, and the Hill family, the University of Ottawa is proud to extend financial support to HOST program participants pursuing postsecondary studies at uOttawa.
