About this Award
This fund was established at the University of Ottawa by the Fédération des Caisses populaires
Desjardins de l’Ontario, the Confédération des caisses populaires et d'économie Desjardins du Québec
and the Groupe-vie Desjardins-Laurentienne. Its purpose is threefold; to award a bursary to one or
several Franco-Ontarian students in recognition of their academic performance and community
involvement; to allow more Franco-Ontarian students to attend the University of Ottawa, and to promote
French language and culture in Ontario. The donors thank the Government of Ontario for its matching
contribution.
