Purpose of this Award

To provide financial assistance to students admitted in the first year at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (SEECS), Faculty of Engineering at the University of Ottawa whose education would otherwise be compromised.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must:

  1. have been admitted full-time in the first year at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (SEECS) at the University of Ottawa with a minimal average of 80%;
  2. be an Ontario resident (as per OSAP - Ontario Student Assistance Program – rules);
  3. demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid and Awards Service of the University of Ottawa;
  4. be a well-rounded individual and have computer skills; and
  5. intend to enter a coop program at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.

How to Apply

Submitted in the Online Scholarship and Bursaries portal, accessible via uoZone, and must include:

  1. the Financial Questionnaire;
  2. a copy of the applicant’s high school transcript; and
  3. a letter from the applicant stating his/her intent of applying to enter a coop program at the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
