Purpose of this Award
To assist newly-admitted students
entering the Civil Engineering program who have received an offer of
admission to the first year of the full-time regular or co-op program.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must:
- Be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident or a person with protected or refugee status.
- Have graduated from a secondary school with a minimum 80% average upon admission to the Civil Engineering program.
- Be admitted as an undergraduate student at the Faculty of Engineering in the Civil Engineering program at the University of Ottawa.
- Have received an offer of admission to the first year of the full-time regular or co-op program.
- Be an Ontario resident, as per OSAP rules.
- Demonstrate financial need, as determined by the Financial Aid and Awards Service of the University of Ottawa.

Submitted in the Online Scholarship and Bursaries portal, accessible via uoZone, and must include:
- the Financial Questionnaire
- copy of the applicant’s academic transcript

established in 1997 by Professor Ronald Droste and Professor Kevin Kennedy.
