Purpose of this Award

To award scholarships to PhD students at the Faculty of Medicine who have distinguished themselves through their research conducted as part of their program of study.

Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must:

  1. be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with protected/refugee status or an international student
  2. be enrolled as a full-time student in a PhD program at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Ottawa
  3. have distinguished themselves through research conducted as part of their program of study

  1. a short summary (max. 500 words) of the applicant’s research conducted as part of their program of study
  2. a letter of recommendation from the applicant’s supervisor
