About this Award
Ranked as one of Canada’s top corporate donors, BMO has been committed to community reinvestment and corporate responsibility in the communities it serves for more than 150 years, with a special focus on education. To fund BMO’s belief in the opportunities created by access to lifelong learning, it has generously created the BMO Graduate Bursaries at the University of Ottawa. This fund will provide financial support to graduate students of all academic disciplines as well as help sustain the next generation of scholars, supporting their research as they prepare to advance their careers in academia, government, and industry. Support of graduate students will help ensure that the “rising stars” at the University of Ottawa in all areas of research can be generously supported in the early stages of their chosen career so they can take their place as the leaders of the next generation of researchers.
BMO wishes to thank the University of Ottawa for its matching contributions through the University of Ottawa Graduate Fellowship Program.
