Purpose of this Award
To award a scholarship to deserving students registered in a graduate program at the Department of History and who are not from the province of Ontario.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must:
- be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with the protected/refugee status or an international student
- be a full-time student registered in a graduate program at the Department of History at the University of Ottawa
- not reside (permanent address) in the province of Ontario
- demonstrate academic excellence
- have completed their course work at the time of the award (in the case of MA students) or have completed their comprehensive exam (in the case of PhD students)

Submitted in the Online Scholarship and Bursaries portal, accessible via uoZone, and must include:
- a letter of support from the applicant's supervisor
