About this Award
The Kules recognize the unique role of the Chair of Ukrainian Studies at the University of Ottawa in promoting research on contemporary Ukraine. As such, they have generously created an endowed fund that will provide critical financial support to Canadian and international students with a research interest in contemporary Ukraine who are pursuing graduate studies at the University of Ottawa.
The University of Ottawa will invest in the Kule endowment fund, as well as help to pay the annual salary of chair holder and expenses related to the 560 square foot office space used by the Chair of Ukrainian Studies. Drs. Peter and Doris Kule wish to thank the University of Ottawa for triple matching their gift.
