Purpose of this Award
Exclusively, to support training and research for graduate and postgraduate students enrolled in neuroscience
programs at the Faculty of Medicine in laboratories that officially partner with laboratories at an Israeli university.
Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must:
- be a Canadian citizen, a permanent resident, a person with protected/refugee status or an international student
- be enrolled as a full-time student in a master’s or doctoral program at the Faculty of Medicine or be a postgraduate trainee at the University of Ottawa
- be under the primary supervision of a lead researcher affiliated and/or collaborating with one of our Israeli partners
- be conducting a research project focused on neuroscience
How to Apply
Submitted in the Online Scholarship and Bursaries portal, accessible via uoZone, and must include:
- a letter of confirmation from the applicant’s primary supervisor or lead researcher, who is affiliated and/or collaborating with an Israeli university on work for which there is an official, signed agreement with an Israeli university

This fund was created to commemorate the exceptional research and training initiated by Dr. Diana Koszycki
and Dr. Jacques Bradwejn. It is committed to supporting world-class research and inspiring collaboration in
neuro-discovery at the Faculty of Medicine and the University of Ottawa Brain and Mind Research Institute.
